Volunteer work:

Girl Scouts

I took part in setting up a program for the Girl Scouts in the San Gorgonio, California, chapter, in which I taught the girls about shark, reef & ocean conservation and underwater photography.  After the classroom portion we would take the girls into the pool on SCUBA for a Discover Scuba Course where I would photograph the girls underwater for a momento of their special course that day.  I'm also proud to say that I was made a honorary Girl Scout by not one, but two troops.  A very special moment for sure!

S.H.A.R.K. (Sheriff's High Adventure for Responsible Kids)

I was honored to participate in this amazing program to help inner city kids.  I photographed the pool and ocean classes and assisted where I could as a Divemaster.  I'm very proud to work with this program from time to time and look forward to doing more work with them in the future.

SCDCIE  (Southern California Dive Club of the Inland Empire

I held a volunteer position as Communications Director for 2 consecutive years for the dive club. I ran the facebook page, website and worked hard to bring in new memberships.  I ran the yearly Scuba Santa event which was a Toys for Tots program with the Marines which was always a highlight.  I organized and led activities many times which included field trips to places like the California Science Center.  I also organized guest speakers to come speak at our monthly meetings, organized raffle prizes at times and did a monthly newsletter
